Hudson Guild makes the arts accessible to all through twelve shows in its two galleries and three theatre productions per year. Gallery exhibits range from group shows with works by famous and community artists alike to collections of works made by children in the Guilds youth programs. The Hudson Guild Theatre Company typically takes a fresh look at the classics, distilling them to 70-minute, one-act productions.
The Guild works to create and sustain a strong, effective community that acknowledges and responds to the potential, achievements and interdependence of its diverse members. Rooted in and primarily focused on the Chelsea neighborhood, we seek to empower all individuals and families to achieve their highest potential, while maintaining a priority focus on those in economic need. The Guild reaches approximately 11,000 people annually with services such as daycare, recreational programming for teens, hot meals for senior citizens, low-cost professional counseling and community arts programs.
